Isabelle Amatoury first established Kid’s Island Nursery School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1982 and in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 1991. The nursery schools follow the British Curriculum (EYFS), Kid’s Island accepting children from 9 months to 3 years old and Cocoon Nursery houses our Foundation Stage 1 Unit which takes the children who have turned 3 by 31st of August.

Parents are children’s first and most enduring educators and our nursery schools provide a safe and nurturing environment where children are gently encouraged to build self-awareness, social skills and personal development through activities and play in a relaxed and caring atmosphere.

All parents are made to feel welcome, valued and necessary through a range of different opportunities for collaboration between children, parents and the nursery. We aim to provide peace of mind to the family.

Kid's Island and Cocoon Nursery School are in two different buildings, 2 minutes walking distance from each other. In all we have 18 classrooms, play ground areas, library room, playrooms, indoor sand & water areas, outside water area, gym room and discovery room.

We offer flexibility to parents by enrolling children for 3, 4 or 5 days attendance per week depending on the age group. All our classes have a qualified/experienced teacher and a teacher’s assistant. Both nursery schools have a nurse on duty at all times and there is a fully equipped Nurse’s clinic approved by the Department of Health.

After completing nursery/foundation stage 1, our children then move on to the main primary schools in Dubai. Our children move on to attend over 15 different schools throughout Dubai including the British, American and International schools.
