Isabelle Amatoury opened the doors to Kid’s Island Nursery 35 years ago, when early years schooling options were limited within the Middle East.
Working tirelessly, she devoted herself to making the nursery a nurturing, inspiring home away from home for families. As the educational landscape evolved, so too did Isabelle’s view on Early Years Education.

Our nursery seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces; including lush gardens, a mud kitchen, sensory sand and water play areas, and a woodland terrace. These stimulating environments inspire curiosity and sensory development.
Proactively Eco-Friendly Philosophy
Sustainability is a core value, reflected in our eco-friendly practices and nature-inspired curriculum. Children are encouraged to connect with their environment, fostering a sense of responsibility and love for nature.
In addition to nurturing children, the nursery provides resources and guidance for parents, such as a Mum and Baby Group called Stay & Play and empathetic staff who address parents' concerns and support families during this critical phase.

Like a chameleon, over the years, the nursery facilities and curriculum have been adapted to improve play-based learning opportunities for the children.
24 years ago, Isabelle’s daughter, Agathe followed in her mother’s footsteps and joined the Nursery Team. Isabelle and Agathe are lifelong learners and their love of education and desire to nurture a child’s natural curiosity led to the creation of The Inspire Philosophy.
Designed to complement the British Curriculum, The Inspire Philosophy ensures that Kid’s Island Nursery offers a unique, progressive and nature-infused curriculum to plant seeds of curiosity and enrich children’s learning experiences.
