Get ready to dive into the joy of Messy Mondays and Stay & Play Thursdays at Kid’s Island Nursery, taking place every Monday and Thursday mornings from 8:30am to 10:30am! These weekly sessions welcomes parents/guardians and little ones to spend quality time together in a relaxed and welcoming environment, while enjoying our open-ended, sensory environment, we have carefully curated.

Messy Mondays give children the freedom to explore sand, mud, water, and paint to their heart’s content. There are no limits to creativity or exploration, and we actively encourage children to get as messy as possible as they learn through hands-on, sensory-rich play.

Stay & Play is all about giving children the freedom to move, from climbing and balancing to exploring both the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. With open-ended resources and lots of space for rolling, running and early movement, children choose how they want to play. It’s a welcoming, unhurried session for families to enjoy the full nursery experience.

Bring along your favourite snacks (nut and seed free), a bottle of water for you and your child and a spare change of clothes. Come dressed for mess, curiosity and plenty of fun.

These engaging mornings are designed for crawlers through to children aged four years old, offering a wonderful opportunity for little ones to explore sensory play with their trusted guardian, where they can get stuck in with their child and not have to worry about the clean up afterwards.
